Adams and Reese partner Gerard Gaudet elected NOBA Young Lawyers Section Chair

A new chair was elected at the helm of the New Orleans Bar Association.

Adams and Reese Partner Gerard Gaudet has been elected Young Lawyers Section Chair for the New Orleans Bar Association.

The New Orleans Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section (YLS) serves as a vibrant hub within the local legal community, fostering connections among young professionals while contributing to community service initiatives in the New Orleans area.

The NOBA YLS spearheads various fundraisers benefiting nonprofits that provide essential legal services to the indigent and veterans. The section hosts a range of annual events, including the Bar & Grille Law Firm Cooking Competition, Dos & Don’ts for Summer Law Clerks, NOBA Cornhole Classic, Approach the Bench, Big Easy Bootcamp, Procrastinators Program CLE seminars, and Law Day, among others.

At Adams and Reese, Gaudet advises clients in the maritime, energy, oil and gas and construction industries. He has broad litigation experience in all these spaces, as well as in commercial/corporate litigation, catastrophic injury litigation, and complex and class-action litigation.

In addition to his litigation practice, Gaudet serves as outside general counsel to several small business clients, advising them on a myriad of issues concerning the growth of their businesses, including commercial lease agreements, construction and other contracts, employment issues, and disputes with vendors.
