The Black Dagger Military Hunt Club and the Hillsborough County (FL) Sheriff’s Office chaired the sixth annual Military Heroes Top Shot Event. The competition allows military veterans to compete in a one-of-a-kind shooting event that was inspired by the shooting competitions featured in the Top Shot® television series on History® network.
Twenty veteran competitors were chosen from the James A. Haley Veterans Affairs hospital and the United States Special Operations Command Care Coalition. Competitors used specialized adaptive equipment and were aided by a qualified safety range team. The focus of event is to highlight abilities of wounded/disabled veterans and their continued drive and desire to compete.

The event took place November 18, 2017 at the Sheriff’s Walter C. Heinrich Training Facility Shooting Range and all proceeds benefited the HCSO Charities and the Black Dagger Military Hunt Club, Inc.
