Tile Roofing Installer Certification October 2025

TRI Alliance’s Manual Certification program is a 4 hour course on the code requirements for the proper installation of concrete and clay roofing tiles. The course is based on the 2024 code-approved TRI Concrete and Clay Roof Tile Installation Manual ES-ER-2015.

TRI Alliance certification is targeted towards both entry-level and experienced roofers who would like to expand their skills into tile. This course can also be used as a refresher for consultants, inspectors and others who want to stay up-to-date on codes and proper procedures.

Participants earn certification of completion after passing a 50-question, open-book test based on the manual. Certification is valid for two years and can be renewed every 2 years online.

Manual Certified individuals will be listed by company in the TRI Alliance Contractor Search. Companies can show the TRI Alliance manual certification logo on their marketing materials, stating they have a TRI Alliance manual-certified employee on staff.

Pre-registration ($499) is required  – space is limited. Members of NRCA, WSRCA, ARCA, ASHI and other contractor or inspector associations can use the Associate Member rate ($400, use promo code ARCA10152025.)
