First introduced years ago, DeckWrap underwent a major upgrade in 2017 and rebranded as DeckWrap PowerBond®. 

DeckWrap PowerBond® effectively shields decks and their supports from moisture penetration and metal component corrosion. It also prevents water from seeping into the home at the ledger board, where the deck connects to the house.  

DeckWrap PowerBond® was redesigned for improved performance. Here are some of the upgrades made: 

Patented PowerBond® two-part adhesive system for aggressive adhesion! 

1. Film Surface - the film has an anti-slip surface and  is far less susceptible to curl back to its original shape like other films on the market.  
2. Patented PowerBond® Adhesive System - DeckWrap PowerBond® now features our patented PowerBond® adhesive system. This two-part adhesive system aggressively adheres to the deck structure and can be installed in temperatures as low as 25°F (-4°C). This feature allows for a wider window for the product to be installed, while remaining stable at elevated temperatures. Some competitive products will ooze or even run in these high temperatures. 
3. Thinner Membrane - we changed our formula from 40 mils to 25 mils, which creates a less bulky, easier-to-handle membrane that does not diminish its ability to adhere or self-seal around common fasteners. 
4. Bigger Roll Sizes - our 3" and 6" rolls have been lengthened from 25' to 75'. This gives you the material needed to complete the job with less waste of packaging material. The 12" roll size will remain at 25'
