The Coffee Shops™ brought together Marianna Conner and Chase DeLong from The Catch-All, along with Jack Waddell of Acorn Roofing and Construction, for a Roofing Road Trips® conversation about cleaner, more professional roofing projects. The discussion focused on how jobsite protection can support both customer care and contractor growth.
Marianna shared, “We are the roofer's helper, I would say. We're here to help roofers that want to grow their businesses, that want to stand out. Set yourself apart with marketing, set yourself apart with how you're going to take care of the home.”
That approach, Marianna explained, comes from a team with extensive roofing experience. She shared that she began answering phones at her father’s roofing company at 12 years old and later served on the leadership team for two roofing companies.
“We're currently using the large jobsite kit. We install it on every house before we start a tear off. Some days we even go out and we'll set it up the day before. Just having the presence in the neighborhood, all your branding on it and showing that you go above and beyond and really care about the details makes a big difference to those homeowners,” explained Jack.
Jack said the system gives Acorn Roofing and Construction a more polished presence in the neighborhood while showing homeowners that the company is paying attention before work begins.
Jack noted, “The Catch-All does a great job of deflecting any debris coming off the roof, protecting windows, window screens and the flower beds. It's really great, and it looks extremely professional and shows to everyone that you care.”
For contractors, that visible care matters because homeowners may not see every detail on the roof. Jack said the protection system helps make professionalism visible from the street. Cleaner jobsites are more than an operational upgrade. They can communicate preparation, respect for property and a contractor’s commitment to doing the job well.
