Celebrating National Roofing Week 2026 in Canada

Celebrating National Roofing Week 2026 in Canada
June 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

National Roofing Week is driven by industry participation across Canada.

The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA), the national voice of professional roofing contractors in Canada, is pleased to announce that National Roofing Week will take place from June 7 to 12, 2026. Delivered in collaboration with provincial roofing associations and in alignment with the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), this initiative highlights the critical role roofing systems play in protecting Canada’s buildings, infrastructure and communities, while celebrating the skilled professionals behind the work.

Objectives of national roofing week

  1. Raise awareness of the importance of roofing systems: Roofs are essential to protecting Canadians from increasingly variable weather conditions. National Roofing Week highlights the critical role roofing systems play in building resilience and safeguarding businesses and infrastructure.
  2. Promote careers in roofing and skilled trades: Roofing is a proud Red Seal trade in Canada and a vital part of the construction sector. As the industry continues to face workforce challenges, we aim to inspire the next generation and showcase the rewarding career opportunities available in roofing.
  3. Promote the value of hiring qualified roofing professionals: National Roofing Week encourages Canadians to make informed decisions by working with professional roofing contractors who prioritize safety, quality workmanship and industry best practices.
