A cleaner approach to jobsite protection

Protecting landscaping and controlling debris are important parts of any roofing project, but traditional tarps can create their own challenges. The Catch-All offers a jobsite protection system designed to keep debris contained while reducing the risk of damage to grass, shrubs and other landscaping. 

How can roofing contractors better protect landscaping during a roof replacement? 

Rather than laying tarps directly over the property, The Catch-All uses Ground and Landscape Nets suspended from specially designed poles with padded tops that lean against the building. The setup creates a collection area around the home while avoiding some common problems associated with tarps, including tearing, blowing away and burning vegetation. 

What makes The Catch-All different from traditional roofing tarps? 

The system is also designed with jobsite efficiency in mind. According to The Catch-All, two to three workers can typically set up a bundle in less than 20 minutes, although timing can vary based on the home and surrounding landscaping. Once most of the shingle load has been moved to the trailer, the same size crew can generally clean up the system in 30 minutes or less. 

How do Ground Nets and Chute Nets help manage roofing debris? 

Different net components handle different debris. Chute Nets are intended to capture smaller materials such as nails and pieces of underlayment, while Ground Nets can support heavier loads from many squares of shingles. 

How durable is The Catch-All jobsite protection system? 

Durability has also been part of the system’s development. The Catch-All reports that crews used its original prototype Landscape Protection Kit five days a week for well over a year with only light wear, and improvements have been made since that prototype. 

Can contractors customize The Catch-All with their company branding? 

Contractors can also add a company logo to a Landscape Protection Kit. Protection Kits typically ship seven to 10 business days after banner approval, while other orders generally ship within one to three business days. The Catch-All does not offer a warranty because of the demanding nature of roofing work, but customers can contact the company about suspected manufacturing defects.
